Run, Run, Run!
Hey Kids!
Earth Man Dan here catching up with all the new developments going on in ECOS World. First I just want to say that Spring Break is just around the corner and we can all use a week off run and play. Yee- Ha! We've been working on a bunch of projects in the community, cleaning up areas in need of repair and getting out and meeting people and having fun.
We have a couple of events coming up that you can attend too. First is an Earth Day Celebration in Woodland Hills. It's on Saturday April 24th from 10am until noon. I'll be there with Ecos doing some fun presentations and giving away some prizes. For example we have a stainless steel water bottle give-away sponsored by Eco-Usable. We'll be at a really cool store called All Green Things. They have all kinds of eco-friendly products that the whole family can use (even your pets). You can visit them online at www.allgreenthings.com
We'll also be at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County soon. I think it's Sunday May 30th from 11am until 3pm but I'll confirm that as we get closer. They have a fantastic "Sustainable Sundays" series of events that are really educational regarding green eco-stuff. You can also check them out at www.nhm.org and search their calendar for Sustainable Sundays.
And finally, ECOS has a Facebook page. So feel free to go and visit and become a fan--we have lots more photos of our performances and more to come. We have to keep in mind that Facebook does not allow anyone under 13 years old to access their content but parents, teachers, and other people over that age can oversee the visit.
That's all for now! We'll be back soon!

Welcome to All our New Friends!
Hey Kids!
Earth Man Dan here and I know it's been a long time since we've written but--we're busy runnning and jumping and singing and playing with lots of new friends. It's a really exciting time for everyone in ECOS World and we'd like to share it all with you! First, we have a picture that we took of us at the Green Station. The Green Station is where ECOS lives. It's a big space ship that has it's own rain forest on it. ECOS can grow every kind of plant and tree and it's a great place to learn.
We also ran into our Space-Buddy, Fabulous Freddie! He's REALLY a lot of fun. He come from Planet Nimbus and he's here on Earth bringing all kinds of happiness to all the kids. He's here with is robot pal Q-B and they have lots of games, and magic tricks and music to dance around to. For now, you can listen to his album on the player on the right of this page and you can ask your moms and dads to get it at iTunes or Amazon.com. It's called "Fabulous Freddie's Cosmic Classics". It's full of really fun songs and at iTunes you get a 16 page book with the download. We like "Go Like This and Go Like That" and "The Arm Dance". You can really jump around to those songs! (But they're all good)
Annnd...we made a new friend over the holidays. Kid Rex is a big green dinosaur that has a search engine for kids. And, I guess you know what that is because you are reading this blog on a computer. We recommend Kid Rex for all your internet searching and there's a link to his site at the right under Freddie's music player.
While we're here let's also say Happy Halloween, Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and Happy Martin Luther King Day. We'll be sure to write more often so come back soon and we'll have more good news about conservation.
Now go eat your vegetables and clean your room and hug your mom and dad.
See you soon~ Earth Man Dan

Mmmmmm. Pump-kins!
Greetings Youngsters!
Earth Man Dan here and I cannot believe that summer is over and all the kids are back in school. It's October already and Halloween is coming. Wow! ECOS and I are out visiting schools and museums and we're having a great time in our own gardens growing fall and winter fruits and vegetables. Like what you ask? Like PUMPKINS!! Pumpkins are a kind of squash that are very tasty. Everybody Likes pumpkin pie. Right? And when you hollow out a pumpkin for a jack-o-lantern you can get your mom or dad to help you toast the seeds you got out of the inside. They make a great snack.
We've also recently been visited by our space-pal Fabulous Freddie. He's here from the Helion Planetoid to bring fun and happiness to all the kids of the universe. And he's landed here on Earth to begin his mission here. You can visit his web page at www.fabfreddie.blogspot.com. He's new here and wants to make lots of friends so look for him too.
Well, I have to go but hopefully, we can all get together soon and sing some songs and play some games. And don't forget to keep eating your vegetables, brush your teeth, pick up litter, and use your reusable water bottle.
Good Bye and Adios!

ECOS SUMMER
Hey Kids! Ecos and Earth Man Dan are enjoying the summer in Southern California. School is out and we are going to the beach a lot. We are also hiking in the hills above Los Angeles and playing tag in the park.
And while we're having fun in the surf and sun (don't forget your sun screen) we also help the lifeguards and rangers keep the beaches and mountains clean by picking up litter. Whether we are at the park or the pier--we never leave anything behind. Keeping our planet clean is something we can all help with. Everyone can just do a little bit, but it makes a BIG difference.
And when it is hot outside don't forget to eat right and drink lots of water. (A little ice cream is ok too) Earth Man Dan will have more great lessons on stuff like conservation, solar power, and water conservation so keep coming back. There's more to come!
