Greetings Youngsters!
Earth Man Dan here and I cannot believe that summer is over and all the kids are back in school. It's October already and Halloween is coming. Wow! ECOS and I are out visiting schools and museums and we're having a great time in our own gardens growing fall and winter fruits and vegetables. Like what you ask? Like PUMPKINS!! Pumpkins are a kind of squash that are very tasty. Everybody Likes pumpkin pie. Right? And when you hollow out a pumpkin for a jack-o-lantern you can get your mom or dad to help you toast the seeds you got out of the inside. They make a great snack.
We've also recently been visited by our space-pal Fabulous Freddie. He's here from the Helion Planetoid to bring fun and happiness to all the kids of the universe. And he's landed here on Earth to begin his mission here. You can visit his web page at www.fabfreddie.blogspot.com. He's new here and wants to make lots of friends so look for him too.
Well, I have to go but hopefully, we can all get together soon and sing some songs and play some games. And don't forget to keep eating your vegetables, brush your teeth, pick up litter, and use your reusable water bottle.
Good Bye and Adios!

ECOS SUMMER
Hey Kids! Ecos and Earth Man Dan are enjoying the summer in Southern California. School is out and we are going to the beach a lot. We are also hiking in the hills above Los Angeles and playing tag in the park.
And while we're having fun in the surf and sun (don't forget your sun screen) we also help the lifeguards and rangers keep the beaches and mountains clean by picking up litter. Whether we are at the park or the pier--we never leave anything behind. Keeping our planet clean is something we can all help with. Everyone can just do a little bit, but it makes a BIG difference.
And when it is hot outside don't forget to eat right and drink lots of water. (A little ice cream is ok too) Earth Man Dan will have more great lessons on stuff like conservation, solar power, and water conservation so keep coming back. There's more to come!

About Ecos Performances
In "Ecos World," everyday is Earth Day. Ecos cares about our planet and engages children in exploring the responsibility of recycling and learning how to reduce waste. Along with Earth Man Dan, Solar Cindy, Señor Moon, and Missy Sunshine and the Sustainable Little Stars, Ecos brings environmental awareness and responsibility to our youngest generation. Kids love Ecos and like to do what Ecos does, especially practicing eco friendly habits.
"Ecos World" is interdisciplinary, using highly entertaining presentations and artful expression to teach about environmental protection. The live "Ecos World" show is a blend of music, theater, classroom, and games all emphasizing and promoting the “green” cause. Themes range from recycling, reusing, repurposing and not littering, to teaching kids the basic principles of solar energy. Ecos also addresses the value of exercise and good nutrition, as well as pro social behavior.
Beyond traditional education, Ecos World offers guest visits and school assemblies to engage children K-3, parents, and educators in real-life learning as shareholders in being better “Stewards of the Land."
